This is the 3rd event in our wonderful Women Talking Series and part of the Bristol Refugee Festival we are proud to present Refugee Women Talking.

This will be a unique opportunity to come and hear 5 inspirational women from refugee and Asylum seeker backgrounds speak about a variety of themes .

There will also be Q&A and the chance to have a chat with the panel and other refugees, asylum seekers and people who work in this field.

Women Talking is safe space for women to speak and be heard, to improve intercultural awareness and a safe space to unpick some of the trickier conversations that we are often scared to speak about.

Themes include:

  • The Women's stories of how they have survived and hopes for the future.
  • How to volunteer with refugee groups.
  • What is needed in Bristol.
  • The positives about living in Bristol.

Everyone is welcome

Tickets are £5, £3 concessions and free for Asylum seekers.

Refreshments available on the day
